FAQs
What is the RSVP date?
We plan to send out invitations in mid-July. We will ask that you please RSVP no later than August 9th.
Are there other wedding events I can attend?
Yes! We are planning a Welcome Party on Friday and a Breakfast on Sunday. We hope everyone can make it to all events! Please see the Schedule page for more details.
Will there be shuttles available for those who are not staying on-site?
Yes! On the wedding day we will have shuttles to/from the two other hotels at which we have rooms reserved (not Airbnbs). There will also be a section in the RSVP to let us know if you plan to use them. The shuttle schedule will be posted as we get closer to the wedding weekend. (We expect guests to organize their own way to/from the Welcome Party on Friday and Breakfast on Sunday.)
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Please plan to arrive no later than 3:15pm. We will begin promptly at 3:30pm and expect it to be a 5-10 minute walk from the reception desk.
What if I have allergies or dietary restrictions?
There will be an area in the RSVP to let us know so we can take this into account.
Are there activities to do?
Oh yes there are! All guests are welcome to enjoy the amenities provided at Hemlock Neversink. These include an indoor heated pool and hot tub, barrel saunas, steam room, walking trails, tennis courts, craft classes, spa treatments (for an additional cost), a workout room… and goats!
What should I pack?
Please refer to the Schedule page for attire suggestions.* Keep in mind that the weather in NY in October can fluctuate, with warm days and chilly evenings, so we recommend packing layers. If you plan to use the pool, hot tub, sauna, etc, bring a swim suit! And if you plan to exercise or play tennis, bring sneakers!
*A note about footwear for the ladies: Many of the wedding events will require short walks around the property to different locations. There will be areas of grass, gravel and uneven surfaces; keep this in mind as you make footwear selections. We highly recommend no stilettos, and encourage flats, booties or a low chunky heel.
Are children invited?
We respectfully ask that no persons under the age of 18 attend the wedding weekend unless expressly invited. Please get in touch with us directly if you have any questions.
Can I bring a date?
Due to space restrictions at our venue, we couldn’t give +1s to everyone, but please review your wedding invitation for details.
Am I able to take an Uber/Lyft?
Rideshare services are highly unreliable (and often not available at all). We do not encourage you to rely on these.
If I have additional questions, what should I do?
Feel free to reach out to our wedding planner Cathy! You can reach her HERE.
